The Cardiff Students Union events team offers a high standard of service and can give advice on the suitability of a wide range of facilities throughout the University. There are 10 spaces available to hire, the biggest being the great hall which holds 600 theatre style.

The Great Hall is a versatile and unique venue that has seen everything from gigs to corporate awards, perfect for a wide range of events Available as dry hire only, extras can be included on a quote by quote basis.

One of the standout features of YPlas is its abundance of natural light as a result of large ceiling windows. In the evening, customisable lighting options help create the perfect mood for your occasion. YPlas is only available as dry hire. Tech and catering options are available on a quote by quote basis.

We offer 7 meetings rooms with a variety of functions, from historic boardrooms to modern flexible spaces. Each room comes equipped with integrated AV, a projector and PC so breakout rooms look and sound their absolute best.

Cardiff is served by the M4 and is easily accessible from all parts of Britain. Cardiff Central train station is approximately 20-30 minutes on foot to Cardiff Students Union's Main Building. Walking will allow you to get a feel for the city including the shops, restaurants and entertainment. Cardiff Bus provides services within the city centre and several inter-regional and international air services operate from Cardiff Airport, which is about 12 miles from the city centre.
